From the year 2009, Chile was contagious of this adrenaline and we see that the contagion already expands to Latin America.

The Majorcans Santi Oliver and David Santana they were proclaimed the campeónes of Blokart's World in Oostende's Belgian place this on October 18, 2010. Also the Majorcan Javier Estarellas was raised to the podium as secret third.
In total, the contest assembled 137 participants of a total of 18 countries. There completed the summons of the Spanish equipment Peter Bresnan, Manuel Cavaller, Bartolomé Riera and Mateo Vilariño (of Balears), Jose Enrique Denia (Valencia), Jose Manuel Palomo and Eduardo Cano (Castile and León), the latter with the merit of suffering a fundamental chronic injury that has not prevented him from taking part in this appointment.

Records

The world land speed record for a wind powered vehicle was broken on 26 March 2009 by Richard Jenkins in his yacht Greenbird with a speed of 126.1 mph (202.9 km/h).Wind speeds were fluctuating between 30–50 mph (48–80 km/h) at that time.
The previous record of 116 mph (187 km/h) was set by American Bob Schumacher on March 20, 1999 driving his Iron Duck vehicle. Both records were set on Ivanpah Dry Lake near Primm, Nevada, USA.

championships

The last 2008 was held the inaugural World Championship this kind monotype, becoming the terrestrial equivalent of nautical Optimist or Laser classes, making it the ideal candidate to become the first class Olympic sailing on land that was held in Papamoa New Zealand.

European and world championships

One of the largest international events in the sport are the European championships, in which competitors of all classes from all over Europe travel to a sand yachting venue for a week long competition.

North America

In the US, annual competitions are held by local clubs and by NALSA, the North American Landsailing Association. The largest regatta is regularly held the last week of March on the playa at the California-Nevada border near Prim Nevada. The classes sailed in the US include several one-design classes, international class 5 (5 m² class in the US), and open classes solely based on the sail/wing area. The European yachts sail with the appropriate US open class according to their sail area.
Promoting international competition, there are periodic regattas including FISLY and other landsailing nations, mostly on the Pacific Rim. The host and venue of this regatta rotates, and the 2009 event will be hosted by NALSA at the March regatta.

Alexander Bell

Alexander Graham Bell (March 3, 1847 – August 2, 1922) he was an important scientist, inventor, engineer and innovator who at the age of 29 invented the telephone and formed The Bell Telephone Company in 1877 .

Alexander Graham Bell was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. His mother, was deaf, she was a musician and an artist. His father, taught deaf people how to speak, invented "Visible Speech". This was a code that showed how the tongue, lips, and throat were positioned to make speech sounds. Graham, or "Aleck", as his family used to call him, was interested in working with the deaf throughout his life.

He only attended school for five years; from the time he was 10 until he was 14, but he never stopped learning. He read the books in his grandfather's library and studied by himself.

One of his most important inventions was the telephone but he also invented The Metal Detector, The Hydroplane and he contributed a lot in the world of Aeronautics….

He was very classic, tall, slim, is a bit serious, he has beard and he has big nose and small and dark eyes.
He was honest, good person, kind-heartded, serius, and bad-tempered.

We learned how to discovered the telephone, described people, and we liked to learned new intelligent people.
